Description
Astronomical data on massive black holes are reviewed. The data are in conflict with our current understanding how such black holes can be created in the frameworks of conventional cosmology and astrophysics. It is argued that almost all observed black holes are primordial. The contribution of black holes to cosmological dark matter is discussed. A model of 1993 which explains the observed facts is described.
