Immigration / Visa
All participants do require VISA to visit Vietnam, except for a few exemptions listed below.
Vietnam Visa exemptions arfe granted to:

- Citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
- Citizens of Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
- Citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia and Finland for visits of 15 days at the maximum. (Note: VISA policies do change, so please double check the rules that will affect your travel.)
Apply for a TOURIST VISA, you may use the official website to get the E-VISA or one of the VISA on arrival links below. The processing time is only 3 to 4 working days to get it. You just print out the approved E-VISA and present it (along with with 2 passport photos and $25 in cash) at the service desk immediately before going through immigration.
If you plan to stay Vietnam longer than a month, please either go to your nearest Vietnamese consulate or through the Internet (you will have to retrieve it on your arrival) at following websites:
- Apply for a tourist visa and get it at your nearest Vietnamese consulate
- You may apply for a tourist visa through the Internet
- Visa on Arrival (1) www.getvisavietnam.com/
- Visa on Arrival (2) www.myvietnamvisa.com/
This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to bring your 2 passport photos, a print out of the E-VISA paperwork you received from the service, and $25 USD in cash as required by the internet visa service.
Travel to Quy Nhon
There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhut airport : SGN).
As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.
Below is an indicative flight schedule. Please check before reservation.
Note: it is not uncommon that airlines change the flight schedule (even by more than 2h) a few weeks before departure. You should plan your trip accordingly.

For those arriving via Hanoi, since the only dayly flight to Quy Nhon is very early in the morning, it may be wise to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City and catch up there the afternoon flight to Quy Nhon.
