Le video-performer et concepteur américain David Lublin lui a récemment dédié une page de son site officiel VDMX https://vdmx.vidvox.net/blog/isf-from-silvia-fabiani.
Elle a réalisé les animations pour la video-performance de l’œuvre Rose incandescente, en utilisant les techniques déjà connues de l’animation 3D; mais c’est un langage de programmation bien plus récent et innovateur, GLSL (dans la version Interactive Shader Format), qui permettent à Silvia Fabiani d’animer les images en temps réel et créer sa contribution au projet Subatomic Desire.
Issue d’une famille de scientifiques, Silvia Fabiani a découvert le CERN en 2007; fascinée, elle n’a cessé de se passionner pour cette puissante organisation internationale et ses découvertes.
Elle a collaboré plusieurs fois à l’organisation du festival Cinéglobe et réalisé des reportages au sujet du CERN.
Silvia Fabiani a un parcours atypique et varié: docteur en Lettres, enseignante, depuis toujours passionnée d’art et de scène, lauréate de prix cinématographiques, elle a travaillé comme conseillère pédagogique au musée d’Art Contemporain de Genève et comme réalisatrice pour de nombreuses associations, organisations internationales et chaînes de télévision.
Au cours des dernières années, elle a réalisé les décors vidéo de nombreux spectacles, tels Ivan le Terrible (Grand-Théâtre de Genève, Théâtre de Beaulieu), Sons de la Venise de Shylock (représenté à Genève, Bâle, Venise, Turin, Catane, Toronto), Spiritual Délire (représenté en Suisse et au Mexique), Dédoublement (4 cantons suisses, puis en Uruguay et au Pérou).

In recent years, she has directed the video sets of many shows, such as Ivan the Terrible (Grand Theater of Geneva, Beaulieu Theater), Sons of the Venice of Shylock (represented in Geneva, Basel, Venice, Turin, Catania , Toronto), Spiritual Delirium (represented in Switzerland and Mexico), Duplication (4 Swiss cantons, then Uruguay and Peru).
