Transportation

Getting to Zagreb

By plane

Zagreb is well connected with various airline hubs. More information can be found at Zagreb airport's web page http://www.zagreb-airport.hr/

A bus connecting the airport to the city is available every half an hour.

Be advised that taxis waiting in front of the airport can be unreasonably expensive. A better option would be to use a service like Uber, or to call a taxi from a company like Cammeo or Eko Taxi (the latter two have a fixed price of 100 HRK from the city to the airport and vice versa).

Getting to Ruđer Bošković Institute

Entering the institute

When first entering the Institute, you will need to show a valid ID. All participants which which will have registered via INDICO page will be preauthorized to enter. Each participant will receive a conference badge at the reception desk which will enable then to enter/exit the Institute at later times.

By car

You can enter the Institute by car.

By public transport

There are frequent bus lines connecting the Kaptol square with RBI. The destination bus stop is in front of the entrance to RBI and it's name is "Institut Ruđer Bošković". It is the second bus stop after the roundabout on the top of the hill.

Alternatively, you can use the bus no. 201 from Trg Eugena Kvaternika.

Accomodation

Participants are kindly requested to book the accommodation themselves. Recommendation is to book in the vicinity of the Ban Jelačić square (Trg Bana Jelačića), because there are multiple bus lines starting from Kaptol which reach Rudjer Boskovic Institute. See the map.
