We have had a report of a conference participant receiving an unsolicited call on their work number. The caller claimed to be from the conference hotel and it is clear that this was an attempted scam. Unfortunately, this is becoming more and more common and, in case you are not already, we would like to make you aware of such scams.
Regarding the Integrability, dualities and deformations conference, there is no reason that the hotel should be contacting you directly by phone. If you are at all unsure about any communication you receive supposedly related to the conference, please do not give out any personal details. Contact one of the organisers directly on their personal email (or through the conference email address: santiago.workshop.2020@gmail.com) and we will be able to establish whether it is genuine or not.
