We will be accommodated at Novotel Kraków City West, a modern and nice 4-star hotel, with spacious and confortable rooms. The hotel is located in a few walk distance from Krakow center, old Town and to the bars & nightlife area.

You should arrive at Novotel Kraków City West for registration during the afternoon or early evening of Sunday 23 August 2020.
You are responsible for organising your own travel to CSC 2020, as the School does not organize travel tickets for participants. The travel cost to and from the School is not included in the school fee.
Once your application is accepted and you get an Invitation Letter, we strongly encourage you to make your travel arrangements without delay, as plane tickets to Kraków during this period risk getting expensive if you wait too long.
It is your responsibility to obtain any visa that may be required in order for you to travel to Poland and participate in the School. If you need a visa then that is a cost you will be required to pay. The organisers will not pay for individuals’ visa application costs, whether or not the application is successful, nor is this cost that has been factored in to the participation fee.
If you require a visa to enter Poland, please contact the organisers of the School without delay at Computing.School@cern.ch, so that a Letter of Invitation may be organised by AGH University of Science and Technology as the host institute in Poland. Without such a letter, you may not be able to apply for a visa successfully.
