Each participant will be covered by up to 125 Euros per day, covering meals and lodging. The procedure on how each participant will be supported will depend on the country of affiliation. See below for details.
Participants from a COST-affiliated country
Applies to participants whose main affiliation is in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
The support will come in the form of reimbursement by the COST Action CA17113 - Trapped Ions: Progress in classical and quantum applications - TIPICQA. Every eligible participant should have received an invitation to register to the e-COST system. Please follow carefully the instructions of this email and make sure you accept the invitation before the start of the conference.
The expenses related to your participation in this event will be reimbursed in line with the COST Rules of Reimbursement. Please keep the receipts of your expenses.
You will be able to submit your reimbursement claim online only after the event, within the deadline of 15 days after the conference. You may be requested to provide original supporting documents.
Participants from a Non-COST country
Applies to participants whose main affiliation is in Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, and the USA.
Participants not eligible for support from COST will be supported directly by the conference organization, thanks to the patronage of our sponsors. We will cover your stay at CERN Hostel and you will be given meal vouchers for use at CERN Restaurants for the duration of the conference. Please check with us at registration.
