2nd STEAM Workshop

Description
We kindly invite you to participate in the 2nd STEAM Workshop, which is organized by CERN and will be held virtually on 11-15 October 2021 for about 4 hours per day.
The workshop will consist of:
1. updates by the STEAM team on the latest exciting developments and new releases, including 3D magnet quench simulation, CCT and solenoid simulations, Jupyter notebooks for programmatic model generation, and more…. Please note, STEAM architecture and tools were presented at the 1st STEAM Workshop (slides are available at https://indico.cern.ch/event/808547/ ).
2. simulation results and experience by users of STEAM during the last few years. We will reach out to a few of you to propose to present. If you would like to present, please do not hesitate to contact us.
3. hands-on sessions during which STEAM experts will be available to explain how the programs work and assist you with building your own simulation model. Feel free to bring your own cases to simulate or join a session on software you are interested in to ask questions or see models being developed.
You can register for the Workshop before 30 September 2021. Registration is free of charge and open to everyone so please feel free to forward this invitation to other colleagues that might be interested. The workshop will be recorded and videos will be made available for colleagues who cannot connect in real time conveniently. The exact contents and time schedule of the workshop will be announced at a later date.
