Participants have to make their own arrangements for their accommodation, after receiving the confirmation of acceptation for the school.
Reservation
Please note that a number of rooms have been blocked for the Winter School:
- single with individual bathroom (58 CHF)
- single with washbasin and toilet (48 CHF)*
- single with washbasin only (27 CHF)*
*communal shower rooms available on each floor at the Hostel (for the last two type of room mentioned above).
We kindly ask you to fill in the form you can find here and send it back to housing.service@cern.ch directly, and before Friday 22nd July.

Access:
Notice that the main CERN entrance is in Meyrin, Switzerland, while some of the suggested hotels are located in France, Saint-Genis-Pouilly. Public transportation from locations in Geneva, Meyrin or Cointrin is efficient, but not from hotels located on the french side.
On general grounds we recommend hotels in downtown Geneva (unless you have a car). A convenient area to connect with public transportation to CERN is the Cornavin train station, which is also close to the city center.
