Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

Authors are invited to submit papers describing original developments and new contributions in the workshop topic areas, as described in the overview and the scientific programme.

Manufacturers are welcome to submit abstracts on new, state of the art, electronic products or systems in the field of electronic technology for particle physics.

A CERN account is needed for the submission. If you do not have one, it can be created here.

Abstracts (max. 100 words long) and summaries (max. 500 words long), along an optional file containing diagrams or plots, should be complete and describe the work, its relevance to one or more of the workshop topics and important conclusions.

Submissions without comprehensive summary will not be considered. Submissions directly from the presenters are encouraged. Summaries should clearly describe the aspects of the work relevant to the topics of TWEPP. Standard summaries targeted to physics or detector instrumentation conferences might need to be updated accordingly.

o) Describe: the specifications of the work, possibly the arguments for these specifications and the implementation challenge arising from these specifications. Use quantitative (numbers) statements, comparisons and performance figures; and do not give statements that a given parameter needs to be high or low.
o) Figures and plots, supporting the description can be uploaded in addition to the summary.
o) Describe: the work and challenge/complexity such that it can be understood by a scientist outside your field of competence in contrast to writing an experiment collaboration note.
o) Describe: why your work is worth being presented at a scientific/technical workshop.
o) Describe: the challenges/difficulties during the implementation of the work and how it was solved or why not.

* DEADLINE for submission 30 APRIL, 2022. No extension is foreseen *

Abstracts will be made available at the time of the workshop: these will include all papers selected for either oral or poster presentation. The proceedings of the workshop will be peer reviewed, available on the Web and published in in a peer reviewed Journal.
