10th ICFA Seminar on Future Perspectives in High-Energy Physics 2011

"Science driving facilities for particle physics"

October 3-6, 2011
CERN
Geneva, Switzerland

Main Auditorium

Every three years, the International Committee for Future Accelerators (ICFA) organizes a seminar on “Future Perspectives in High Energy Physics”. This is a four-day international exchange of information concentrating on plans for future facilities in the field of particle physics. There are typically about 150 attendees at this by-invitation-only meeting, including directors of most of the world’s major laboratories in our field, senior particle and accelerator physicists, and government science officials from several countries.

CERN has been chosen by ICFA to host the next Seminar, to be held on 3-6 October 2011. In addition to discussing future facilities and prospects in particle physics, this seminar will also review the exciting recent results from current facilities that will be decisive for the future direction of our field.

More information can be obtained from the Local Organizing Committe using e-mail  icfa2011-seminar@cern.ch

Attendance to the seminar is by invitation only.
