4th PBC technology mini workshop: cryogenics technologies
The goal of the "PBC technology" working group is to favour the exchange of experience and expertise in technological domains such as superconducting and normal conducting magnets, RF technology, cryogenics, optics, vacuum and surface technology to support the development of new physics experiments and detection methods at and outside CERN that are not relying on colliders (sometimes not even on accelerators). With this workshop series we aim at promoting the exchange of information between physicists and technology experts at CERN and in relevant institutions.
As a fourth topic in this series we have selected cryogenic technologies that have actual and potential applications in a wide range of physics experiments. The talks will be aimed at a mixed audience of physicists and engineers.
The workshop will be held in presence in room 40/S2-D01 (Salle Dirac), with a possibility of a Zoom connection
