The Birmingham meeting consist of three parts:

  • Ultra-Pheripheral Collision ALICE meeting
  • Trigger meeting ALICE
  • Orlando's fest
    • Orlando has recently retired. The Birmingham Particle and Nuclear Physics Groups invite you to a half-day symposium ('Orlando's-fest') to celebrate Orlando's career achievements. The event will begin with a buffet lunch in the Bridge, followed by a series of talks and reflections. There will be a buffet and drinks reception in the evening  in the Vinen room.

Overnight accommodation is available at the Edgbaston Park Hotel (please follow the 'Accommodation' link and contact them directly). Birmingham City Centre is 2 stops away on a regular train route and provides many more options for overnight stays.
