Organised through a partnership between CERN and the Geneva Health Forum (GHF), the Workshop on Global Health will take place on 24th-25th October 2024 at CERN IdeaSquare.
This event will bring together a diverse community of professionals, including policymakers and technical experts from various disciplines, to address some of the most pressing global health challenges. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are the cornerstones of progress and are essential for addressing these challenges. By uniting diverse perspectives and skills, we can drive innovation and make meaningful advancements that benefit the world. Fostering the co-development of research ideas among participants will be a key focus of the exchanges.
Inspired by the successful applications of CERN technologies, such as CAiMIRA and BioDynaMo, the workshop aims to identify new uses for cutting-edge technologies and expertise originally developed for fundamental research, applying them to the field of global health.
The outcome of the workshop will be presented to the public during a webinar on the 26th November 2024.
