Dr. Fons Rademakers, CERN
Fons has been with CERN since 1991. For two decades, he contributed to the development of the ROOT data analysis system, a tool integral to processing and analyzing particle physics data globally. Since 2014, Fons has been part of CERN openlab, where he leads the development of BioDynaMo, a platform for simulating biological dynamics.
Ms. Nan Hsin Chang, MSF
Nan Hsin is an Internal Medicine physician who started her clinical work in Brazil. For the past 11 years, she has worked in the MSF Geneva HQ as the staff health coordinator, while achieving a master’s in public health. She participated in the MSFeCARE project, and has recently taken the current role of digital health expert in the Medical Technology and Innovation unit.
Ms. Line Soukouti, MSF
With a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from EPFL and experience in point-of-care diagnostic tools, Line is currently completing a Global Health Master at the Global Studies Institute. As part of this program, she is supporting MSF’s Medical Technologies and Innovation unit, with a focus on medical innovations and EMR implementation in resource-limited settings.
Dr. Carolina Danovaro, WHO
Carolina is a medical epidemiologist at the WHO's Immunization Analysis and Insights Team. She focuses on global immunization data analysis, improving routine immunization monitoring, and supporting vaccination coverage surveys. She coordinates the Immunization Agenda 2030 Data Strengthening and Use Working Group. Dr. Danovaro also lectures in vaccinology programs at the University of Siena, ADVAC, and other institutions in Chile, Switzerland, and the U.S.
Mr. Albert Aillet, CERN
Albert is a data scientist working on healthcare applications at CERN. He holds a masters degree in machine learning from KTH.
Prof. Charles Hui, University of Ottawa
Charles is the Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Allergy and a Full Professor at the University of Ottawa. He co-founded and is the Chair of the largest network of migration health researchers in the world, has consulted with the WHO, IOM, ECDC, and various governments on migration health policy.
Prof. Dêlidji Eric Degila, Geneva Graduate Institute
Eric is Professor of practice of International Relations, Interdisciplinary Programmes and Visiting Faculty in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Geneva Graduate Institute. His research interests range from international politics to African peace and security challenges, diplomacy, migration, and health issues in the Global South. A political scientist and lawyer, he combines rigorous transdisciplinary analysis and policymaking perspective with the purpose to study complex dynamics that shape the praxis along his lines of research.
