Individual rooms have been blocked for course participants at the Hotel Corbie Geel at a rate of 108€ / night (breakfast included). All participants are strongly encouraged to take this option. The rooms are blocked from Sunday, May 11 to Saturday, May 17 (you may of course choose to leave on Friday, May 16, depending on your travel plans).
Daily transport from the hotel to the JRC Geel site and back will be provided. In case you decide not to stay at the Hotel Corbie Geel, you may still take the bus (you will be requested to inform us if this is the case).
Only once your participation is confirmed after payment of the course fee, please confirm your hotel booking directly with the hotel at geel@corbiehotel.com including:
- The booking reference number #28443
- The name of the course (‘FLUKA course’)
- Your contact information
- Your check-in and check-out dates. The reception is open 07:00-11:00 and 16:00-23.00 (check-in from 16:00). Please inform the hotel if you expect to arrive outside these hours.
Full payment is due at check-in (cash, debit or credit card). The hotel can print or mail you an invoice with the correct details upon payment. After that, changes to the invoice are no longer possible, therefore please provide the correct details either beforehand or at check-in.
The hotel is located on the main square of Geel, 900 metres from the train station. From the station take the street to the centre (Stationstraat), then walk beyond the Sint-Amands cathedral to the main square. The hotel will be on the left-hand side. See the map here. Most restaurants are also located on or near the main square.
Breakfast is served at the following times:
Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 10:00
Saturday - Sunday: 08:00 - 11:00
Check-in: 16:00 - 23:00 / Check-out: before 11:00
If arriving by car, the hotel offers a garage spot at €10 / night. Cars may also be parked for free at the public parking near the train station (Parking “Station”, 10 minutes' walk from the hotel).
