In the iWoRID tradition, an elaborate social programme is foreseen:

Excursion (Monday June 29th)
The city of Ghent is built around water, so there is no better way to look at it than from the water! After a boat tour through the historic center, the boat will drop us at the Saint Peter's abbey, where we can enjoy some Belgians tastes!
The boats will leave at 6PM from the Korenlei
Student social programme (Tuesday June 30th):
Only for students who have not yet obtained their PhD, we will organize a social event where this next generation can get to know each other in an even less formal setting. Curious about what it will be? Think about Belgian specialties!
Conference diner (Wednesday July 1st)
The conference diner will be held in the Monastery of the Augustinian Fathers, home to a magnificent library and to day used by the Augustinians as a school for new Augustinians. More information about the location can be found here (it is in Dutch, but most browsers can translate).
