Poster presentation guidelines
Posters should be made on A0 in portrait mode. Posters are attached with a clipping system (see image below). Note that nothing should be attached to the poster boards using tape etc!
All posters can be on display during the whole conference. They are placed to alternate between Monday and Wednesday posters, hence the numerical order is not completely correct, but gives a good direction. The position of the different poster numbers can be seen on the map below.
Poster pitches
A selection of poster presenters will also be offered the possibility to give their posters (and the poster session in general) additional visibility during the poster pitch sessions. The selected presenters get the opportunity to present the main aspects of their poster during 2' pitches.
The poster pitches will be organized in a plenary session. To limit technical issues, we will pre-assemble the presentation and play this with a strict time limit of 2' for one single slide. The presentation is live, and the speaker will be muted after 2'.
Oral presentation
Oral contributions are limited to 15 minutes and 5 minutes for questions. A fixed presentation laptop will be used. Please upload either .pptx or .pdf to the indico for us to download to this laptop. Please ensure fonts are included in the presentation.
The auditorium is equipped with a 16:9 native aspect ratio projector so we recommend to prepare your presentation in 16:9 format (.pptx or .pdf). However, for those who already have a presentation ready in 4:3 format, the projector is still compatible but black bars will appear along the side of the image. Please transfer your presentation to the conference Windows PC in the auditorium before the start of your session, members from the local organizing committee will assist you at any time. The use of your personal laptop to present is discouraged.
