Hotel Booking
For PicoSEC course we have negotiated with Katane Palace Hotel Direction a very convenient special group rate of 321 € including for each participant resident in the structure the following services:
- Hotel accommodation in a double room for single use (standard, superior, deluxe) with arrival the 30th of June and departure the 3rd of July 2013 (3 nights); 20 € per day per second person in double room (only overnight);
- Free buffet breakfast, wi-fi and mini bar (mineral water and analcoholic beverage daily furnished);
- 2 buffet lunches at Il Cuciniere (1st and 2nd July);

Social dinner at Cortile Capuana (1st July);
- Use of the meeting room and 3 coffee breaks;
- Pick up service from the hotel to ST and return;
- 30 single rooms pre-booked (additional 10 rooms could be pre-booked depending on hotel availability and in the case of high number of participants);

Possibility to extend the stay before of after the course at a discounted fare on request and subject to rooms availability.
The participation to the course is guaranteed only for participants residing in the hotel: participants are therefore kindly requested to stay at this hotel!
Hotel Booking Modality
To book your room after registration in the INDICO course web site,Once filled with your data, the form has to be sent to booking@katanepalace.it indicating in the body of the email that you will participate to PicoSEC workshop in Catania or in the subject the code ST-PicoSEC.
The participation to the course will be allowed only to people accommodating in this hotel.
For PicoSEC members the deadline for course registration and hotel booking is fixed the 31st March 2013, while the booking cancellation will be free of charge till the end of May according to the cancellation policy reported in the reservation form.
The early registration allows to save money and have a first estimate on the number of participants.

How to Get to Katane Palace Hotel
Catania Fontanarossa Vincenzo Bellini Airport is about 10 km far.
By Taxi:
- At your arrival to the airport, you can call either Taxi Caller Sicilia (+39 095 6188) or Radio Taxi Catania (+39 095330966) or reserve online using the web sites http://www.taxicallersicilia.it or http://www.radiotaxicatania.org/default.asp;
- Price from the airport to the hotel: about 20,00 €;
- Note: Not suggested to take other taxis available in front at the arrivals exit (More expensive!).
By Shuttle:
- On request shuttle service available (contact the hotel direction when booking your room or before your arrival)
By Bus – Local Public Transport:
- At the arrivals exit take the Bus Line 457 (Alibus-orange color)
- You need to buy your ticket before travelling and validate it on the vehicle. Tickets are sold inside the airport (one way ticket 1 €) or directly on the bus (one way ticket 1.60 €).
- ATTENTION: Between 12 pm and 5 am there is no transport.

Visit to ST Clean Rooms
A visit to 8" M5 ST Clean Room Facilities is foreseen on Tuesday July 2nd morning.All the participants will have to show their ID card/passport and to communicate in advance the document number to the organization.
