Description

We present a basis of observables to explore and extract all the information from the 4 body angular distribution B->K*(->Kpi)mu+mu- focusing on CP conserving and CP-violating observables at large and low recoil. We identify an optimal basis of observables that balances experimental and theoretical advantages, we present their SM predictions in all regions and discuss their complementarity in the search for New Physics in this decay. We also present first bounds on the S-wave contribution coming from the K_0^* companion decay that are crucial to establish the size of the systematic error associated to this contribution.
