AIDA, an FP7 project that is addressing infrastuctures for detector R&D, is organizing an industry-academia matching event on resistive-plate chambers and thin-gap chambers in future detectors.
The purpose of this event, hosted by HEPHY at TU Vienna, is to review what is considered to be at the forefront in the field of resistive-plate and thin-gap chambers and provide an overview of its key application areas, as well as to facilitate the exchange of information between academia and industry and foster more R&D collaborations between them.
