Implications of Higgs mediated Flavour Changing Neutral Currents with Minimal Flavour Violation.

Description

We poropose an extension of the hypothesis of Minimal Flavour Violation to two Higgs doublet Models without the assumption of Natural Flavour Conservation in the Higgs sector. The potentially dangerous flavour changing neutral currents are suppressed by small entries of the CKM matrix as a result of a discrete symmetry imposed to the Lagrangian. This discrete symmetry is also extended to the leptonic sector. We analyse the constraints and some of the phenomenological implication of this class of models.
