Speakers and Poster Session
Please give us your abstract, and do not forget to upload your talk in the web page. If you have a question, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have not already registered, please REGISTER now. Your Hotel reservation will be welcome at the Intercity Hotel, where we would like to concentrate the majority of the participants. This will make it easy to communicate, and to arrange transportation to go to and from the conference venue.
Posters
Participants willing to present a poster in LISHEP should confirm that in the registration form. The size of the poster should be a maximum of 1.2 m height and 1.0 m width. If you already made your registration and you did not fill in the poster information, please contact us: lishep2015@gmail.com
Proceedings
The Proceedings of Section A will be published in a printed book format by the Livraria da Física, in São Paulo. The Proceedings of the Workshop (Section C) are planned to be published as a SLAC econf proceedings, as in the last LISHEP.

Transportation
From the Airport to your hotel we advise you to take a taxi. You will have better and safer service if you take an officially recognized taxi. There are two companies in the airport.
Please inform us of the date and time of your arrival, airline, flight number and departure city.
From the Hotels to UEA
You can get all the information at the front desk of the hotel. The best option is to take a taxi from the front door of your hotel .
VISA
YOU MAY NEED A VISA to enter Brazil, depending on your nationality. Please, contact the Brazilian diplomatic representative in your country for more detailed information.
Weather
Manaus at the time of LISHEP2015 will normally have good weather, hot and humide. During this period of year, temperatures range from 23 C (72 F) to 35 (95 F).

Electrical Power

Electrical power in Manaus is mostly 110 Volts / 60 cycles, A.C, but some hotels provide 220 Volt / 50 cycle outlets.
Local Currency
Brazilian currency is the Real (R$). The official rate of exchange is available from daily newspapers, hotel cashiers, banks and travel agencies. Cash and travellers checks are easily exchanged at these locations and mainly in Banco do Brasil. Many hotels and shops accept foreign currency and Credit Cards. Currently, the dollar to real rate has been around US$ 1.00 ~ R$ 3,00.
Business hours
Shops in Rio de Janeiro and most offices are open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Malls and/or Shopping Centers remain open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. Banks are open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.. Many pharmacies, supermarkets and small grocery stores are open also on Sunday.
Tipping:Tips are usually given in restaurants and bars, when not included in the bill. It is 10%.
