Description

Abstract The article presents capabilities of magnetic systems in generation of magnetic fields with highly different gradients. The presented material describes the results of constructing of a magnetic source DECRISEsc with large field gradient together with results of development of system generating highly uniform magnetic field required for electron system cooling of ions. Unique construction of the unclosed superconducting shield enables Improvement of homogeneity of the Magnetic Field in Magnetic Systems generation of a few orders of magnitude higher than currently generated.
