We recommend that you join us on the post-conference excursion as well, to the nearby Eger, one of the world famous wine regions Hungary, on Saturday, August 26, 2017. The cost for this option is 40 EUR. For this excursion, the following agenda is foreseen:
- 9:00 start from Gyöngyös, bus departs from the Károly Róbert Hostel
- 9:30-10:00 Grave of prof. I. Lovas in nearby Gyöngyöshalász (within 5 km)
- 11:00-14:00 Sightseeing in Eger:
- Líceum,
- Magic Tower,
- main Church of Eger
- 14:00-15:30 Lunch with special wine tasting,
- Thummerer's winery in Noszvaj, Eger region
- 16:00-18:00 Castle of Eger
- 19:00 Arrival to Gyöngyös, to the conference hotel(s).
This post-conference excursion will be organized if at least 10 participants sign up for it.
