VENUE
The MEDICIS-Promed Summer School will take place in the seminar rooms of the Physics Department of the University of Pavia, located only 6-minute walk to the Fondazione CNAO – Via Agostina Bassi 6, Pavia.
Coffee and tea breaks and lunches will be served at the Fondazione CNAO.
Directions from Excelsior Hotel to the Physics Department: we suggest to take bus n. 3 "Montebolone-Cascina Pelizza- Colombarone" from the "stop Stazione 6" ( close to the railway station) and get off at "stop Taramelli Forlanini". For the transfer by bus, please consider around 15 minutes. The institute is a very short walk from the bus stop.
TRAVEL TO PAVIA
1. From Geneva to Pavia
For those who will leave from Geneva, we propose to take the train. Here are two options:
- Geneva-Pavia by train: 07:39-12:33 (1 change in Milano Centrale)
- Geneva-Pavia by train: 13:39-18:33 (1 change in Milano Centrale)

2. From Linate Airport to Pavia Railway Station:
For those flying to Linate Airport (Milan), the best option is to take the BOTTI Bus that ensures a good and easy connection between the Linate airport and the Pavia railway station.

3. From Malpensa Airport to Pavia Railway Station:
