For those who wish to stay over the week-end, we have organized a visit to the Trento Proton Therapy Center on Saturday morning (June 10) at 09:30.
The Trento Proton Therapy Center is the first proton therapy center with isocentric gantries in Italy. The site is equipped with Pencil Beam Scanning (PBS) technology. It furthermore boasts advanced features such as multiple spot ID and high precision positioning and is the first IBA complex with CT-on-rails imagery installed. Workshops and /or special topic discussions will animate our visit.
Travel information: We will leave from Pavia to Trento with the train of 13:01 on Friday afternoon (June 9).For train tickets please check the Italian State Railways website. On Sunday (June 11) you will be free to organise the day at your convenience.
