    The CMS tracker at sLHC is required to provide prompt PT information to the trigger to maintain the 100kHz LHC level 1 rate. Simulations show that a promising technique to achieve this is by correlating hits in two closely spaced strixel layers (~ 1mm spacing, ~ 100 um x 2.5 mm strixels), the so-called stacked tracking approach.
