Wednesday can be spent exploring Oxford, or making a short trip to one of the nearby attractions. More information can be found here.
School Dinner
School dinner will be an excellent opportunity to get to know your fellow students. The dinner will be held in the dining hall of Somerville College. Started as a women-only College, Somerville boasts a number of notable female alumni, including Dorothy Hodgkin, the only British woman to win a Nobel prize in science, Indira Gandhi, the only female prime minister of India, and Margaret Thatcher, the first female prime minister of the UK.
Formal wear is recommended, but not required. In practice this means a shirt and a blazer, with some people opting for a tie.
