During the late summer of 2018, for the first time ever, 10 successful CESP applicants will get to come to CERN for a five-week residency. The students will receive coaching and training on high-tech venture creation as well as working alongside experienced CERN knowledge transfer professionals - identifying and evaluating exploitable technologies with the aim of developing concepts for new ventures.
CESP will build upon basic knowledge about entrepreneurship and venture creation - adding a technological dimension to the participants' studies. Hence, the Applicants' Master's programmes should ideally have a strong entrepreneurship component. If not, the application should clearly elaborate on other activities and initiatives that gives the Applicant the relevant experience and/or knowledge within entrepreneurship.
CESP is a CERN & Society project.
