Concerning accommodation, please proceed with your own reservations. There are many good options in town. Here there are few suggestions, close to the campus and downtown. Hull is a small city, and it is easy to move around with public transportation or taxi if late at night.

Note: Downtown location. Easy to go to the Uni taking buses. We have a defined rate with us of £65.00 per room which includes breakfast. For booking, the suggestion is to ring the hotel and book giving a credit card at the time of booking to hold the rooms. Payment can be made upon check in. At the time of booking and paying, just quote that you are here for the conference, and that Hull University rate applies.
Note: if you are familiar with airBnB, and you plan to stay for a week or longer, you may check this out. It can provide quite cheap solutions, also apartments. Just make sure that you are booking not far from the university.
Note: mention that you are here attending the school/NuGrid meeting, putting me cc when you send email. Salmon Grove Guest house is the best apparently. Places are not many here, so space can run out really quickly.
