TBSI Building Location on Map

Trinity College is located in the heart of Dublin's city centre and is conveniently serviced by a number of public transport routes.

Dublin Airport (DUB) has flight connections to many international cities. From either airport terminal, Dublin city centre can be reached either by bus or taxi.

Bus

The conference venue can be reached by the following bus services:

  • Aircoach Route 700 - this service departs from either terminal approximately every 15min (except between 23:55-03:25 when it's every 30min) and takes between 30min and an hour. The cost is €7 one-way or €12 return. The closest stops to campus are Trinity College/Grafton Street and Kildare Street.
  • Airlink Route 747 or Route 757 - this service also departs from both terminals approx every 15min. The cost is  €6 one-way or €11 return when you purchase online or they can be purchased at the Bus and Travel Information desk. They can also be bought from the vending machines located at the bus departure points. The closest stops to campus are: Route 747 - College Green (at TCD front gate), Route 757 - Westland Row & Pearse Rail Stn (closest to venue).
  • Dublin Bus A cheaper alternative is to take the regular bus from the airport (bus no. 16) that will take about 45 minutes and will cost €3.30. The exact fare needs to be paid directly to the bus driver. The closest stop is at College Green about a 5min walk from the TCD front gate.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available outside both terminal buildings. A taxi will take about 20-30 minutes (depending on traffic). The usual fare for a journey to Dublin city centre is approx. €25. The trip can (again depending on traffic) be shortened by asking the driver to take the Port Tunnel. At most times this will incur a €3 toll charge. However, at peak times on weekdays (06:00-10:00 from airport to city; 16:00-19:00 from city to airport), the toll charge rises to €10.

Train

The conference venue can be reached by the DART train services from Connolly Station to Pearse station via the DART.
