In line with the earlier closing remarks (see slides in case there are some last open administrative questions 😉), we would like thanking you all as well by e-mail, for having made this school such a great and beautiful moment in time. Special thanks to the Majorana foundation, the local team, incredible applause to Angelique & Maria, and the enormous efforts of all lecturers and co-directors for having made this school possible!
For those not having gotten their departure gift, please do not hesitate finding us later at San Rocco, and they will evidently also be available at breakfast tomorrow!

Tuesday October 24th
- Breakfast: for those being in hotels were there is no breakfast served, please come to San Rocco – the breakfast room is in back of the court on the right hand side
- Doors in the lecture hall open at 8:00, please be there latest by 8:15h so that we can start at 8:30h (map below)
- Excursion: we have to shift our excursion from Friday to Saturday, details to follow soon, a list will be at your disposal (with Maria or me) to sign-up
- School-Bags (that sounds interesting 😉, the bags with the little gifts): for those not having gotten one, please get in touch with Maria (students + lecturers)
Monday October 23th
Our first event will be todays’ Welcome Reception as from 19h in the court of San Rocco where we will be having drinks/snacks together, hand-out your welcome bags (& gifts 😉) and can then dispatch for dinner in smaller groups.
For tomorrow, please come to the lecture hall (San Domenico) tomorrow at 8:15h (doors open at 8:00h) – we will then start the school at 8:30h sharply.

We would like to share with you useful and practical information before your arrival next week. This and further information will also be available on the Course website.
YOUR VENUE
By plane
Transfers from/to Palermo and Trapani airport to/from Erice are provided by the Ettore Majorana Centre according to the information provided in your travel form. The bus drivers will be holding the sign “ETTORE MAJORANA FOUNDATION” at the arrivals hall.
By train
From either Milan or Rome, it is relatively easy to reach Erice. You must take a train to Trapani. Erice is situated on the mountain overlooking Trapani. From Trapani take a taxi to Erice.
Confirm the price before taking the taxi (Trapani Taxi +39 328 442 8677- Erice Taxi: +39 339 611 8200).
By car

Cars are not allowed to enter the historical centre.

WHERE TO GO FOR THE REGISTRATION
The bus driver will drop you off to your hotel where you shall fill the registration form, receive your room keys, your folder, and your conference badge.
The reception desk is located at the EMFCSC main building (San Rocco, “Isidor I. Rabi” Institute, see Figure 2).

POSTERS
It is do not necessary to bring a poster – a special networking event will be organized on Thursday October 26th.
MATERIALS TO BRINGS
If you want to participate actively during the Monte-Carlo hands-on sessions, a laptop is mandatory. USB Keys with trial versions of PHITS, GEANT and FLUKA will be provided to you.
