Transport is included for those who booked the hotel package with ICISE. If you booked the hotel yourself you will have to pay USD 8 for the transport. Payment can be done at the conference desk; don't pay to the driver at the airport.
International flights arrive at Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) or Hanoi (HAN) airport. From there you need to connect with a domestic flight to Phu Cat (UIH) airport near Quy Nhon. Domestic flights are frequent and cheap. Vietnam Airlines is usually very reliable, VietJet Air is ok, Bamboo Airways and Vietravel Airlines are better avoided. These domestic flights are mostly during the day; international flights arriving in the evening will have an overnight layover.
Please note that most international airlines offering a route to Phu Cat do so based on agreements with local companies. This might hide some choices available for the last leg to Phu Cat compared to booking only the domestic flight portion.

Transfer in Ho Chi Minh City
In Ho Chi Minh City your have to transfer from the International to the Domestic Terminal. It is an easy short walk (500m).
A good option to stay overnight near the Ho Chi Minh City airport is the IBIS Saigon Airport Hotel since it is in walking distance to the terminal.

Transfer in Hanoi
In Hanoi you need to take a shuttle bus to transfer from the International to the Domestic terminal. See the description here
Arrival in Quy Nhon
ICISE staff will be present at Quy Nhon airport to meet our participants. Transport to hotels in downtown Quy Nhon will be provided. Watch out for this sign:
