Description

                              Conference logo

This conference aims to give graduate students and early career researchers (within 5yrs of finishing a PhD) the opportunity to present their work to a supportive international audience. We expect this conference to be of interest to researchers in Atomic Clocks, Quantum Information & Computation, Quantum Simulations, Quantum Technologies, Antimatter Physics, Precision Spectroscopy and Nuclear Physics. Attendees will have the chance to take part in fruitful discussions concerning important topics in physics research today, build networks with potential future colleagues/ collaborators and attend interactive sessions supporting the development of skills necessary for a career in research or industry.

The organisers particularly encourage applications from a diverse community and additional support will be available to potential attendees who highlight a barrier to their attendance. Part-time PhD students and those who have taken a career break will not be subject to the 5yr post-PhD limit. Each application will be assessed individually.

Covid mitigation - we expect that this conference will take place in person due to the current progress of vaccination schemes in the local area.  However, we will continue to plan for a hybrid event in the case that some speakers or attendees are still unable to travel.  The venue has a full audio-visual system that will allow for remote participation.  If you have an abstract accepted then you will still be able to present your work, even if your travel plans change at the last minute.  We encourage those concerned to contact us as soon as they are aware of a change to their situation.

The registration fee is 120€ for graduate students and 175€ for post-docs.
