Where is Réunion Island?… Check out Wikipedia! In short, it is a French overseas department, a tropical volcanic island (with an area of about 2500 sq. km) located in the Southern Hemisphere, in the Indian Ocean, at longitude 55°30′ E and latitude 21° S, east of Madagascar, part of the so-called Mascarene (Mascarenhas) Archipelago (with Mauritius and Rodrigues). It offers facilities, public services and living standards similar to what is commonly found in (mainland) France and other developed western countries.

The Symposium will take place at the holiday resort Le Village de Corail in Saint-Gilles-Les-Bains on the western coast of the island. Please visit the pages about the Holiday resort for more information.
