Accessing Zoom Event (Online-Session)

ONLINE REGISTRATION(INCLUDING PAYMENT) IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE ONLINE SESSION.

Registration yourself in indico is now closed because the deadline for online registration is over. If you want to register, please contact to SQM2022 Secretariat.


You need to access via Zoom Event system to participate online.

  1. If you've received the invitation by email, please sign up with link "SIGN UP, IT'S FREE" or "Register" in the email

  2. If you haven't, you can access to Zoom Event Web with following hyperlink directly.

    Go to Zoom Event / Shortened URL: http://cern.ch/go/b6jd
    1. Login with your email, which was used for INDICO REGISTRATION
      1. If it is CERN email(@cern.ch), it can be done by SSO (Single-Sign-On)
      2. If you don't have Zoom account, please make an account with the email which is associated with indico registration.
      3. If you want to change the email address, please contact to  SQM2022 Secretariat.
        1. Please inform us if you have poster presentation.
    2. If you have succeed to logging-in and accessing the webpage (without 404),
      1. Please click "Register" to registering Zoom Event
      2. Insert corresponding information and click "Confirm Registration".
        1. You will receive email "Order confirmation for SQM2022"

      3. Click "Join Lobby" at the page. Then, you can join the Zoom Event Lobby
        1. Zoom client may request login, you should login with zoom account used for Zoom Event Registration.
        2. If the lobby is not appeared after login the client, please press "Join Lobby" at the webpage again.
 

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

How can I access to Zoom Event (SQM2022)?

  1. If you don't register for Zoom Event (different with indico registration), please follow instruction above.
  2. If you already register for Zoom Event, you can get the "Join Lobby" button at
    1. The email which you received "Order Confirmation for SQM2022" (from Zoom Event)
      1. Click "View Ticket" and click "Join Lobby" at the poped-up webpage.
    2. Link to Zoom Event (http://cern.ch/go/b6jd)
      1. Login with zoom account which you used for zoom event registration.
      2. Click "Join Lobby"
        1. If the Zoom client request to login, login and click again the "Join Lobby"

I want to use other Zoom Account, which is different with email associated in indico registration. 

Please confirm your Sign-in email of Zoom.

Zoom Web interface → Profile (first page which has your name, photo, etc at the top) → at middle of page, "Sign-In Email"

Please inform us(SQM2022 Secretariat) to change your email address. 
We need your "Name", "Address in Indico", "Address which need to be in the Zoom Event"

I'm speaker of oral presentation. How can I present my presentation online?

Note: Please upload your presentation at least 3 hours before your presentation. 

  1. Please register to Zoom Event with above instruction
  2. At the session you have to give a talk, please be sure your name in zoom is same as name of speaker at indico.
  3. After confirmation at our side, we will give you permission to speak/broadcast.

I'm speaker of poster presentation. How can I present my poster?

Zoom Expo system will be used for poster presentation.

  1. Please register to Zoom Event with above instruction
  2. At the Lobby, you can see the Expo at the left of zoom event window.
  3. Please confirm your booth number at your poster contribution at indico
    booth number example: BLK-10, OTH-02, DET-01 etc.
  4. You can start own your meeting room at your booth (press "Start"). You can present anything you want.
    1. The meeting room will not be active if booth owner (poster presenter) doesn't start the meeting room.
