OAC Accommodation and conference package
Orthodox Academy of Crete (see Conference Venue) at Kolymbari has 60 rooms, all double beds, with either two beds or a double bed, out of which 5 are suites (two rooms, with a double bed in the one and a sofa in the other room). All have their own bathroom & most have a sea-view & air-conditioning.
OAC offers an all-inclusive package that includes accommodation, full board, and conference facilities. See accommodation costs below:

It means that for example, one participant sharing a room with an accompanying person over 12 years old should pay 105+65 EUR per day. If two participants are sharing a room then they should pay 105+105 EUR per day.
OAC meals
OAC provides breakfast and two meals per day, which are served in the dining room of the foundation. During the summer months, when the weather is good, meals are served on the big veranda of OAC, providing a magnificent sea view.
The conference organization pays particular attention to having a rich selection of high-quality and taste truly vegetarian dishes.
There is a breakfast buffet and warm meals for lunch and dinner. The meals follow the traditional Cretan cuisine and include starters, salad, main course, fruit/dessert, as well as local wine and water.
There are two coffee breaks per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, including coffee, tea, orange juice and biscuits/cake.
OAC room booking and cancellation policy
1) Make a pre-reservation by filling "OAC room booking" form (in Registration menu item).
Please do not proceed to any payment if you have not received a confirmation of your stay in OAC by the organizers.
2) After you receive confirmation of your OAC room pre-reservation from organizers and after you buy your ticket or you are sure for your dates, you are expected to pay for at least 1 night (not refundable). If any change is made to the dates of reservation, this must be communicated to the organizers by email in addition to changing the registration data. The change is not done till you receive confirmation from organizers.
Changing the registration form will not affect the confirmed dates, without writing of the email.
3) Pay the full amount before the conference, when your travel plan is secured.
Once you have done a payment, please send us proof of your payment (electronic receipt, photo or scan of the receipt) with payment description (name of the participant, payment information such as "accommodation", "meals", conference fee payment, etc.) to icnfp2022@gmail.com.
Cancellation policy:
Payments for OAC rooms are not reimbursable if participants have paid full amounts for their room for certain dates but make changes in their booking (cancel, change dates) after 30 June 2022. For example if you pay for 4 nights and you come for 3 nights, OAC will not reimburse the difference if the change is made after 30 June 2022.
Alternative accommodation (out of OAC)
For participants wishing to make private arrangements for accommodation a list of hotels is provided: please see the list of hotels at the bottom of the page and contact the hotel of your choice directly.
Please note that participants not staying in OAC, are expected to pay 40 EUR per day to OAC for conference facilities and also includes coffee breaks (obligatory) and 17 EUR per meal if they wish to take a meal.
The payment of 40 EU per day for facilities and coffee breaks is included in the price of the OAC room for those staying in OAC. It is asked to pay a minimal OAC fee of 120 Euro (3 days of daily OAC fee of 40 EUR, without meals) (non refundabe).
It is not necessary to have meals in OAC if you stay in a hotel.

Attention, it may be that online booking systems concern only the hotels they are associated with and not all hotels that are free in a region.
We suggest you contact by telephone (the best) or email the hotels directly. Many of them offer apartments for like 60-80 EU with 2 bedrooms and living room which are optimal for a group or family.

Attention: participants of the conference have been contacted in May 2018 by people that told them that there is no free room in OAC and offer them to book a hotel via their "company" and told them that they can cancel at any time. However, it was a fraud. You will receive information about your OAC room booking via the conference email.
