Informations about how to pay the conference fee and other contributions to PIC 2023:
There are 3 ways to pay conference fee or other contributions to the University of Tarapaca:
A Payment with credit card online, via an online link.
B Payment by bank transfer to the bank account of the University of Tarapaca.
C Payment in cash at the conference, to the University cashier.
People paying in cash must bring the equivalent amount in USD (USA dollars). If the amount is not exact and you will require a change, the change that you will receive back, will be in CLP (Chilean pesos).
Physical speakers conference fee: 500 EUR= 529.32 USD
Online speakers conference fee: 250 EUR= 264.66 USD
(Based on the exchange rate of 29 September 2023. Please use the exchange rate of the day of your payment.)
Important notes for the cases of payment via A or B,
1) Participants are expected to pay the costs of the transaction.
2) Participants are expected to write a comment for the motive of their bank transfer like "PIC Your Name" or "Your Name". Examples: " PIC ISAAC NEWTON" or only Family name like "NEWTON" (if there is no much space to write).
3) Participants are requested to please send by email to
physicsincollision2023@gmail.com
a proof of your payment (file from banking, screen shot, add as many details as you can get), writing the way of payment used, amount paid, bank, country, date and time, right after your payment.
We need this information in order to identify your payment in the bank account of the University.
4) We advise participants to pay by credit card.
5) When you pay by credit card, after you select the amount that you want to pay in EUR, it appears the "Total" to pay in Chilean pesos. However the pesos are written with the dollar sign. Here the dollar sign, means not USD, but CLP. (In Chile people use " $ " for CLP).
For example if you select to pay 250 EUR, the " Total " will show an amount similar to "$ 239.323" (this means that your payment will be an equivalent of = 239323 CLP, which is about 268 USD).
You will receive official receipt in Spanish, and the same translated in English with official validation from the University's translator.
We have communicated the informations of the bank account and the link for credit card payments via email to the registered participants.
