Conference fee
For online presenters
The fee for early registration is €250 for PhD holders and €150 for students if the fee is paid by the July 5th, 2023.
After July 5th, 2023 the conference fee is €285 for PhD holders and €185 for students.
The conference fee includes:
- Publication of one conference proceeding
- Conference center fee
For on-site participants
The fee for early registration is €480 for PhD holders and €380 for students if the fee is paid by July 5th, 2023.
After July 5th, 2023 the conference fee is €515 for PhD holders and €415 for students.
The conference fee includes:
- Publication of one conference proceeding
- Conference dinner
- Conference excursion
- Social events
The conference fee amount is independent of the duration of stay of the delegate and therefore it is also independent of the participation in the conference dinner or the excursion.
Additional fees
Fees for participants staying outside of OAC
There is an additional cost of €40 per day to be paid to OAC (conference center fee) mainly for the use of the OAC conference center and partially for coffee breaks. It should not be paid for the days of official arrival (July 10), departure (July 23), and conference excursion (July 16). These participants are expected to pay this for at least 3 days of this fee even if they stay for one day only.
Participants in hotels that wish to have lunch or dinner in OAC should pay in advance of the conference. The price is €17 EUR per meal.

Excursion fee for the excursion to Chania old town
€30 per person for everyone who needs a sit in the bus transport (also for children)
Additional Fees for accompanying persons
The conference dinner fee for accompanying persons is €20 for those staying in OAC and €37 for those staying outside of OAC. Children of 6 to 12 years old pay half price for the conference dinner and children younger than 6 years old do not pay.
The fee for the conference excursion to:
- Palace of Knossos and Heraklion Archaeological museum is €70 per person over 12 years old and €60 for others
- Falassarna beach is €60 per person over 12 years old and €50 for others
- Cretan Monasteries is €60 per person over 12 years old and €50 for others.
