As with previous WWNDs, participants will be afforded a free afternoon on each conference day. The hotel is a 10 walk min from downtown Jackson, which offers musems, art galleries, shopping, and many dining options. The town of Jackson is in the vicinity of the National Elk Refuge and the Grand Teton National Park. The organziers are investigating arranging a sleigh ride tour during the workshop.
For those interested in skiing, the resort is right next to Snowking Mountain, which offers lift tickets for around $80 per day. The famous Jackson Hole Mountain Ski Resort can be reached by a public bus directly from the workshop hotel.
