Conference rooms:
The opening plenary and certain lectures will take place in the Auditorium ("Hoersaal"), which is in building 5. Other lectures and exercises will take place in the Seminar room in building 1b SR4a/b.
Wifi:
Wireless internet is available either via eduroam or the 'DESY-Guest' network in the main auditorium and exercise rooms, as well as the hostel rooms.
Meals:
Breakfast, lunch and dinners will be served in the DESY canteen (building 9). At least one vegetarian option is available every day, plus a salad bar.
Coffee breaks will be served outside of the meeting rooms.
All meals are included in the registration fee. If you wish to buy some snacks or extra drinks, please note that both the canteen and the cafeteria accept only cash and no card payments are possible. There is a single cash machine on site, but is not always available, so better to bring cash to DESY.
The Canteen remains open during weekends from 8-15, and for our scheduled dinners.
DESY Hostel:
Check in for the Hostel is possible as of 15h at the DESY main gate (Notkestrasse 85).
Each hostel building has a laundry machine in the basement, 2 EUR coins are needed, as well as washing powder.
Each hostel building also has a kitchen with a small cabinet if you wish to store any cold drinks or small food items. Dishes are provided.
Please note that the rooms will not be cleaned during your stay, however cleaning material is available.
