Posters

Because of the large number of interesting Posters, there will be 2 Poster Sessions. The first will be on Tuesday Sept 10th at 6.00 – 7.15pm; it will be in conjunction with the Welcome Drinks. The second will be during the lunch break on Wednesday 11th, with a free light lunch served. They will both be on the foyer of Level 2 of Imperial’s Blackett Lab.

Please put up your Posters after 2pm on the Tuesday. Matteo Agostini of the LOC has organised a scheme for which poster goes on which board, to make the arrangement more coherent. Please make sure you put your poster on the correct board, as specified by the labels on the boards. If you wish, they can be left up till the end of meeting. If you wish, they can be left up till the end of meeting.  Posters can be of A0 size or smaller, and preferably in Portrait orientation (vertical). We do have room for a few in Landscape orientation (horizontal), but it is important to let us know if you need to use that option. Please send any questions/comments to Rob Bainbridge (r.bainbridge96@imperial.ac.uk) and to Louis Lyons (l.lyons@physics.ox.ac.uk

The list of the Poster Presenters can be found here, together with links to enable you to upload a PDF of your poster. Please note that a copy of your Abstract is added to the description in the link, but you may want to check this as symbols may not have been rendered correctly. If you so wish, you could also upload a short (not more than 5 minutes) video of yourself, giving an explanation of what your Poster is about.

Please note that we regard Posters and Contributed Talks as equally important parts of the meeting, so a big 'Thank You' to all the poster presenters. There will be a Prize of £150 and a Certificate for the best presentation.

We are looking forward to many lively discussions. However, we would like to draw the attention of all presenters and viewers of the posters to our Code of Conduct (link), so please avoid unduely negative comments; constructive suggestions have a much better chance of being productive.

We hope to see you all at the Poster sessions.

P.S. The winners of the Poster prizes were:

Astrophysics/Cosmology:   Deagan Bartlett, "COmoving Computer Acceleration (COCA): Correcting Emulation Errors for Trustworthy N-Body Simulations"
