Please find below some practical instructions for your journey from CERN to Genoa on Sunday 6th October:
Your group will be split between 3 buses (Jacquet company) to ensure your comfort for this long journey.
The meeting point will be the Bus parking behind the Science Gateway. Departure is scheduled for 10.00 am.
The buses will drop you off in the centre of Genoa (Piazza della Vittoria), at around 6.00 pm.
Given the length of the journey, there will be a 45-minute stop for lunch and a chance to stretch your legs. You are welcome to bring your picnic or buy lunch at the motorway service station when we stop. It should be noted that drivers are required to take a break of at least 45 minutes every 4.5 hours of driving.
