I have attached a short talk on Brandeis activities:

        We had some success:
        -  on sucking down (and also sucking, up for our method) PCBs
        -  stretching meshes on the assembly table
        -  a precision spacer design with gas seal

still not sure about x-raying using fiducial spheres. We are still working on it.  Perhaps
        something better already exists.

Also point that my proposed dZ & dY method with fiducial spheres and dental x-ray sources and dental CCDs would be (if it works) a "tool" testing construction methods, including the placement of alignment devices. To verify the complete MMs two(?) crossed narrow beams and reading out anodes might be possible and could be done at CERN a la the x-ray tomo.  I think Anatoli R. is working on this.
