Public lecture - In Czech Language
On Monday, 1st September on the occasion of the international conference ACAT2014 (Advanced Computing and Analysis Techniques in Physics Research) will be the following public lecture:
Jiri Grygar: Petabyte Astronomy
- Virtual observatories, data archives
- Simulations of large scale structures of the Universe
- Synoptic astronomy, data mining
Lecture starts in 18 hours in the classroom B280. The course is intended for the general public. It will be in Czech language only and admission is free. Hall capacity is limited to 250 seats. In the case of greater participation, the lecture will be also transmitted to the next lecture, again with 250 seats.
