The two airports that serve Galveston are Houston Hobby, HOU (35mins away) and George Bush International Airport, IAH (60mins away). Both airports have a large number of domestic connections. Hobby serves as a SouthWest Airlines hub, while Bush serves as a United Airlines hub. For those traveling from Europe or Asia, George Bush International Airport has various direct flights you can take.
On arrival at either airport, a shuttle can be arranged for travel to the hotel. Using SuperShuttle, a return trip will cost around $120 for a single passenger, and of course will be cheaper if multiple passengers use the same vehicle.
