Financial Support
The conference offers limited financial support for young students as well as post doctoral researchers with up to 5 years scientific experience after their Thesis.
Interested persons can apply sending an email to icnfp2014@gmail.com with
- subject of email: "Request for financial support ICNFP 2014"
- a short application letter
- a curriculum vitae, including the date of Thesis defence if any, and the age
- arrange for a letter of reference to be send to icnfp2014@gmail.com with subject "Reference Letter for (candidates name) ICNFP 2014".
Details of payments
Conference fee
The conference fee is:
- 275 EURO regular
- 195 EURO student
The conference fee includes:
- Proceedings in EPJ Web of Conferences
- Conference dinner
- Conference excursion
- Social events
- Bus transport from and to the Chania airport for the dates of start (27, 28, 30 July) and end (6 and 7 August) of the conference
The payment of the conference fee can be done in the OAC account or in the CERN Team account. Please make sure to send a notification email with the details of your payment.
Note
For participants staying in OAC:
An all-inclusive package has been arranged, which has to be paid directly to the OAC.
For details see Accommodation.
For participants not staying in OAC:
An extra payment of 55 EUR per day is to be done at OAC for lunch (15 EUR), dinner (15 EUR), coffee breaks and conference facilities (25 EUR). For those who will arrange meals by themselves and will not eat in OAC, the extra payment is 25 EUR per day.

Accompanying persons wishing to join the conference dinner and excursion are kindly asked to arrange it in place during registration.
Excursion fee for accompanying persons:
More or equal to 17 years old and up to 65 years old: 40 Euros
More than 5 and less than 17 years old or more than 65 years old: 30 Euros
2-5 years old: 20 Euros
How to make payments for conference fee
The conference fee can be paid by bank transfer to the OAC bank account as explained below.
For participants that can use a CERN Team Account an internal transfer (TID) can be made to the CERN Team Account T263100
Please note: failure to pay the conference fee upon arrival will result in a "late registration fee" penalty of 50 EUR.
How to make payments to OAC
Payments to OAC can be made in one of the following ways:
- By Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa)
- By bank transfer to the OAC Bank Account
For Bank Transfers the participants should make sure to provide:
- Name of participant
- Name of conference: ICNFP2014
- Code of conference: 100
- Dates of conference: 28 July - 6 August 2014
