Symposium on the History and Future of Dark Matter

The Symposium on the History and Future of Dark Matter will take place on Sunday 22nd June 2014, making it the perfect event to combine with attendance at Astroparticle Physics 2014, A Joint TeVPA/IDM Conference.

In this symposium, sponsored by the GRAPPA Institute and the Delta Institute of Theoretical Physics, six world-leading scientists who pioneered the discovery of dark matter and its detection strategies will discuss the history and future of dark matter studies. The event will consist of two series of 3 presentations, each followed by a round table discussion with experts in Cosmology and in the History of Science. 

Venue and Audience:

The symposium is open to scientific communities and the public alike. It will take place in the 17th century Koepelkerk in downtown Amsterdam.

Registration:

Tickets for the symposium are available to conference participants at a reduced rate of €10 and can be bought alongside the conference pass when registering via the online registration form.
