LISHEP2009 will present two Sessions:
The Session A - Dedicated to High School Teachers – January 12 -16 2009
This session, devoted mainly to high School Teachers aims to give an overview of the contemporary Physics.Journalists and undergraduate students of the last year of the University are welcome. The session is in Portuguese since it is a regional activity. For eventual speakers from other languages we will provide a simultaneous translation. The Session C - Workshop on Forward Physics, Exotica and Associated Technologies – January19-23
This Session is composed by a series of sub sessions to present the current situation on Forward Physics, Exotica and Associated Technologies in view of the LHC new experiments at CERN.There will be only plenary sessions mainly with reviews for each subject and several short presentations.We will promote sub sessions for presentations of the undergoing thesis and analysis connected to the main subject of the workshop.We will also have a Poster Session. All participation will be by invitation.
TOPICS
All talks will be programmed as a consequence of the interaction with our International Advisory Committee. These talks are intended to give a good idea about the physics on the three subjects of the Workshop.

PARTICIPANTS
A strong participation of physicists and students from all over the world is encouraged. We would like to give the opportunity to the young researchers, students, to get in contact with lecturers, speakers, experts on the subjects of the LISHEP2009 since they will be the future collaborators and will develop together the future detectors and experiments. Then, please help us to get success in this school/workshop.
